Pygmalion from Metamorphoses

an ivory statue becomes alive after a prayer to Aphrodite. But what if perfection doesn’t last?

Kaleidoscope frenzy

Using inspiration from the beloved kids toy, the kaleidoscope I created an animation to shoe case different styles of kaleidoscopes. 

California Butterflies

Drawing on my love for my home state, this animation depicts So-Cal and NorCal butterflies in their natural habitats. ​

The orange butterfly is a monarch butterfly, which makes its yearly pilgrimage from the United States to Mexico. ​

Western Tiger swallow, found throughout the United States. 

Water restoration grant

In partnership with I Love a Clean San Diego, I was able to create an informative infographic and collaborate with Miranda Lee, a fellow graphic designer. This animation depicts the ways water runoff affects our climate and what we can do as homeowners to combat runoff. 

Strolling into donut town

This animation is a depiction of a favorite treat of mine since I was a child baked goods. This animation was created the rubber hose effect in animation sequence.
